Stitchin' for Missions

Do you want fellowship with a purpose? To revive an old skill or learn a new one?

Stitchin' for Missions exists to share the warmth and comfort of God's love through the gift of a blanket.

We create "cuddlies" of all sizes, from crib to king, for donation to non-profit organizations. This has included Orphan Grain Train, Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Border Concerns, Burbank Fire Department, Good Shepherd Lutheran School, Concordia Lutheran Schools, Ventura Family Services, Kingdom Flight Mission and many others.

Most of us sew but knitters/crocheters are welcome (though instruction is not available) Most supplies are provided but if you can bring a sewing machine along - great!  I have yarn, but not needles or hooks.  We would love to have you join us, no matter your skill level. If you can cut or tie a knot, we can use you. Donations are always welcome (see list below).

We meet in Simi Valley on the 2nd and 4th Mondays, 11-4 pm.
