Once again, Practical Scrappers challenged me to use an item I never had before and I was able to use 3 transparency pieces - 2 hearts and then the fun little dragonfly which is 3d, stamped and glittered. I'm also submitting this to the Chirper Challenger "Sweet".

Third Grade Grins

Aaahhh yes, the old school pictures. Trying to get rid of the glare was a challenge, but mostly successful. Simple layout, simple stickers, the Blog Hop Challenge made easier with an "Old School" picture.
Our trip to visit the baby calves.
Lettering is Cricut Keystone, corral is Cricut Paper Doll Dress up.
Stamp pad distressing is Close to My Heart and the cute little guys is from Sew Many Cards.

Down by the Sea

A fun layout to do and it brought back fond memories.
Die cuts - Cricut "Life is a Beach" - gulls and lettering
Various stamp pads from Close to my Heart used for shading and distressing.
Boulders are raised with Miss Elizabeth's mounting dots.

Buggin' Out

This layout came from a story my teacher friend told me about finding a "house centipede" and her daughter's desire to feed it...what happened to be a black widow. Guess who won! (and yes, her 8 year old caught the "spider" and put it in the jar...). All this just took place Wednesday and I wanted to surprise her with the page, which now I can use too!
The centipede is a caterpillar off Cricut "Walk in my Garden" but needed many more legs so cut
5 crabs on "Life is a Beach", split them in half and there's a centipede.
Jar is from "Stretch you imagination"
Spider and Web from "Paper Doll Dress Up"
Lettering is "Lyrical Lettering"

A Mother's Love

A close-up of "Love" trying to show the vellum shadow (which looks better in person, but you knew that).
A precious memory.

I'm kinda liking felt now... the added texture and depth. And I love the subjects :-)
Script is Cricut - Jasmine
Felt and jewels from Joannes. Paper hmmmmmmm

Merry 3rd Christmas

I had felt but have never used it as it always seemed too "heavy" to use on layouts. After looking at the design team's ideas, I was inspired...again. I love these challenges.

The felt is from Joannes. Paper is from Paper Pizzazz. Flowers K & Company.
Ribbon is from Michaels.
Misc. pearls, stars, gllitter from my stash

Timmy's 1st birthday was a perfect match for this challenge...Hey, he's a perfect kid sooo! lol
Ribbon is from Michaels, paper was scrap or unlabeled.

Ooops! Where'd the stickers go?

I was wondering what to do with misc. ugly stickers...their color even ruined random designs. So I made the designs anyway, then stamped on top. Removed the stickers and the white was left. May just work further on this technique. And I did use letters stickers...temporarily!

In the pink...

More fun with letter stickers. Background stamp is CTMH - "With love". Pinwheels are dimensional.

Get Well Letter Designs

Another design using only letter and number stickers... fun to make designs out of an established shape!

Letter Fun

Practical Scrappers offered a challenge this week to use letter stamps in a unique way. The title may be normal but all the other designs are also stickers (including letters, numbers and punctuation marks).

Water Fun

I love circles.
Didn't know that until it was pointed out to me how many of them I use in layouts. And I couldn't pick between the grandkids for the "Shape Challenge" on Practical Scrappers so you see them both in one of their favorite activities - anything to do with water. Most supplies are Miss Elizabeths.
