Scrapping your Stash...Happy Birthday

Welcome to Scrappin' your Stash... the monthly bloghop of Practical Scrappers.
If you didn't start there, you may want to do that so you don't miss any of the great work of our very talented designers. http://practicalscrappers.blogspot.com

Birthday cards are needed all year long so decided to make up a few to have on hand. Pulled out the scrap bin and just. had. fun! These are simple cards, easy enough for everyone to make.

This card has a center opening for a change of pace. A bit of Stickles lights up the candle tops.  The cake cut is from Cricut. The sticky back ribbon on the bottom is by Forever in Time.
The "ribbon" swirling streamers are made of paper. Just cut a thin strip and pull across the scissor blade as you would with ribbon. Nice when you don't have the right ribbon on hand!

This manly card was fun and used up some stickers I won in a drawing.  I believe they were made by Jolee though I can't guarantee it as they've been in the stash for a while. The plaid ribbon had previously been purchased for a autumn wreath and here, it's a great addition, adding both color and texture.......

The final card was inspired by a card on Practicalscrappers.blogspot.com . The stickers are from SRM and one set was placed on satin ribbon for a bit of fun.  The jewels are by EK Success.

I hope you're inspired to take a few minutes and make a card for someone you love.  Thanks for coming by and I know you'll enjoy the next spot to hop...

  5. All 3 of your cards are great, but I loved the tip on curling paper....I had never thought to try that, though I've done it on ribbon tons of times! Very fun. :)
