Stitchin Away
I haven't had time or much to post for the past couple weeks and was asked to put these banners on line for others to see. Been busy working on another set as well, my son's Christmas gift and a quilt for a November auction. The sewing machines have been very busy, the scrappin' table - not so much. And sewing projects generally take a bit (okay, quite a bit) longer than layouts... to find a balance. Maybe I'll just go on vacation next week instead!

Easter Celebration
Letters are white satin and s shimmery sheer with gold lame for butterflies and crown. The crown of thorns are actually ivy branches...I'm blessed not to have to deal with the thorns. Christ took care of that! and so much more...

Third Grade Grins
Down by the Sea
Buggin' Out

This layout came from a story my teacher friend told me about finding a "house centipede" and her daughter's desire to feed it...what happened to be a black widow. Guess who won! (and yes, her 8 year old caught the "spider" and put it in the jar...). All this just took place Wednesday and I wanted to surprise her with the page, which now I can use too!The centipede is a caterpillar off Cricut "Walk in my Garden" but needed many more legs so cut
5 crabs on "Life is a Beach", split them in half and there's a centipede.
Jar is from "Stretch you imagination"
Spider and Web from "Paper Doll Dress Up"
Lettering is "Lyrical Lettering"

A Mother's Love
Merry 3rd Christmas

I had felt but have never used it as it always seemed too "heavy" to use on layouts. After looking at the design team's ideas, I was inspired...again. I love these challenges.
The felt is from Joannes. Paper is from Paper Pizzazz. Flowers K & Company.
Ribbon is from Michaels.
Misc. pearls, stars, gllitter from my stash

Water Fun
I love circles. Didn't know that until it was pointed out to me how many of them I use in layouts. And I couldn't pick between the grandkids for the "Shape Challenge" on Practical Scrappers so you see them both in one of their favorite activities - anything to do with water. Most supplies are Miss Elizabeths.

These banners were done for our new Pastor's ordination in July. Finally got a picture of them. Design is all mine. Banner background is suede cloth, lettering, wind and dove are satin. Sheer nylon shadow and crazy polyester (but the right color) flames.
