I had been intrigued by the background fabric of these banners when they caught my eye in the store (in my favorite area, clearance). It is an embossed felt...not the fuzzy, limp stuff of years ago. So I bought it... and it sat for 3 years until this spring.Letters are white satin and s shimmery sheer with gold lame for butterflies and crown. The crown of thorns are actually ivy branches...I'm blessed not to have to deal with the thorns. Christ took care of that! and so much more...
