A picture of the special love between a mom and her first born.
Blog hop week is fun but not nearly as much fun as being a 2 1/2 year old and becoming a princess. She was so excited Christmas morning. She just wanted to put on her heels, dresses, beads...all her BLING.
Entering challenges is fun, but life has much bigger challenges! This is dedicated to Jennifer who is recovering from removal of a tumor on her spine, just hours after delivering a sweet baby boy. Her wonderful witness to God's mercy and miracles (no cancer!) blesses us all.
Does this resemble the former post? When I took home the flower vase sleeves, I looked at them for days and didn't have the heart to just toss them away. As I played with them, a transformation took place. A card to continue the Easter joy on a birthday, as a get well wish or thinking of you.
We had an Easter breakfast fundraiser for a young mother at church who suffered a stroke. And what is Easter without flowers and fun decorations. The flowers are real but needed to dress us the small cups we used for vases.

I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer for Practical Scrappers. Their theme was flowers and I knew immediately what picture I would use. I first thought I would get ready made flowers to complete the ones in the photograph. When I couldn't find any, I thought I would make my own. Matching paper was the next challenge but I knew I was going to have to add hi-lites anyway, so took what was close and had fun making it match.
A remembrance of my niece's wedding. Their picture is mounted on their invitation envelope and holds the journaling.
A Challenge Winner! Practical Scrappers for unique use of brads! Woo Hoo!
Lucy loved all the lights, paper and glitter that comes with Christmas...and was very good about not touching the tree. The perfect little lady. You can see the joy she brought to our celebration!
What fun it was to layout these pictures and remember a fun week on the road in Dallas and Waco. Lucy loved being dressed up and shown off, for Timmy dancing was the highlight. And my daughter was a radiant beauty.
